Madison’s umbilical cord fell out Thursday morning. Evan found it in her diaper when he was at the pediatrician’s office. You can check out Maddie’s new belly button in the one of the pics below. We’ve also come to realize that she’s a side sleeper, like mommy and daddy 
But because of the SIDS risk, we only lay her on her side when she’s napping on our lap/chest or is being directly supervised by us. I think that as soon as she’s able to, she’ll be rolling over on her side
The umbilical cord is gone. The first rite of passage!

First thing I did was check my email this a.m. And found the new post…what a great way to start the day.Saw the pic of Auntie holding Madison, she looked so thrilled. What a beautiful baby 😉
